Another sequel that would have been better off left on the
shelf (or in this case lost in the computer). It seems that
after Jobe (played in the original film by Jeff Fahey) was
blown to "bytes" in part one, he both lost his legs and needed
major facial surgery (which results here in him resurfacing as
a nasty Max Headroom).
The script combines nonsensical
ravings with stupendous stupidity in an attempt to excite the
unimaginative and placate someone's naive image of the
"teenage audience". Not to worry, all will be resolved, to
the extent that the final group will assemble for a family
shot in the sunset (of an exploding dome) at the end of the
film. Talk about posed.
